Picnic Day

Fill a picnic basket with local food from the Farmer’s Market, then grab some craft beer and relax on the lawn of Lee Park Saturday afternoon for a full lineup of bluegrass bands. In addition to concerts, Lee Park will feature a creative fair with Virginia artists chosen by Whurk Magazine alongside an open air vintage and handmade market curated by Charlottesville’s Fleaville.


Singer Songwriter Night

Ten of the region’s best singer-songwriters go head to head in a friendly competition to win over an audience of 300+ music lovers with their original tunes. The winner will take home hundreds of dollars and the proud title of Tom Tom’s Songwriter of the Year. Apply here:


Belmont Block Party

Just across the bridge from Downtown, Belmont is Charlottesville’s most eclectic neighborhood. Stop by for a relaxed, daylong hang with a public art bike ride, pig roast, porch concerts, street painting, and plenty of craft beer. Bands with a Belmont connection play live music all day long, from bluegrass and gospel to funk, salsa, and brass.
