Bob Welsh is a veteran of the music business. With over 30 years and many major label recordings to his credit, he became a voting Grammy Academy member, and remains active in that role. His projects for youth engagement include music production, furniture making, archival digitization, robotic cameras, and art retail. Bob’s basic description of the impact of this approach is simply “earning and learning.” These endeavors have earned many awards, including an Emmy, the Pennsylvania Governor’s Arts Award, and the PA Innovation Award. Three years ago, Bob was introduced to controlled environment agriculture. In order to make it available first in the urban food deserts of his region, he helped establish INTAG and became its CEO. INTAG partnered with the non-profit Bob founded to create the School To Table program. INTAG is now expanding to offer its solutions intentionally as compliments to education and economic renewal programs.
