Senior Program Officer, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation
Chris Harris is a senior program officer in Entrepreneurship for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he manages the Market Gaps program, which seeks to work with organizations to address persistent barriers for diverse entrepreneurs. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Harris was a program director for the Kansas Department of Commerce, where he developed and managed programs to address nonprofit capital campaigns, early-stage equity funding for startups, and rural out-migration issues. He also was involved with legislative strategy and testimony.
Harris earned a Master of Business Administration from Fort Hays State University and a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Kansas.
