Jori Erdman is a professor of architecture at LSU and has been the director of the LSU School of Architecture since 2009. Erdman received a BS in architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. She is a licensed architect in California and has worked at various architecture firms. She taught at Drury University and Clemson University prior to coming to Louisiana. She serves on the editorial board of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) Journal of Architectural Education, and she was the design editor of the journal from 2007 to 2011. Erdman is also a member of the Coastal Sustainability Studio (CSS) Executive Committee. Her other board services include AIA Baton Rouge, Academic Distinction Fund, and Louisiana Architecture Foundation.
