Suttle Thoughts was formed in 1994. The beginning of 2016 they became Suttle. The individual talent and background of this band brings a unique sound, which allows them the ability to play all types of music from Jazz, R&B, Go-Go and Soft Rock . They have opened for national recording artists to include the Isley Brothers, Jay Holiday, Anthony David and a host of others.
They perform locally each and every Friday at The Historical Takoma Station, one of the longest running Friday night happy hours for any go-go band, for the past nine years. They also perform for other large local events such as the Safeway Barbecue Battle, The Howard Theatre “A Tribute to the legendary father of Go-Go Chuck Brown”, Bethesda Blues & Jazz, and recently live on WUSA 9 promoting an event in which some of the proceeds were going to the Autism Society of Northern Virginia to support families in the area. Suttle has also performed this versatile genre of music outside of the DMV, traveling as far as Cancun, Puerto Rico, Dallas, and Miami, Florida.
